Sarah Tomassen-Jansen & Evelien Valk
FRIS Ontwerpen is a Dutch design company founded in 2009 by Sarah and
Evelien. In 2007, after
graduating from the
Design
Academy
in
Eindhoven, they realized that their individual skills
complemented each other. Working as a duo at FRIS Ontwerpen,
they combine their individual
approaches to product design to create characteristic and happy products.
Eva Gonggrijp & Laetitia
de Veth
Eva graduated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in
The Hague
in 1990.
She
is an artist who
makes use of print-making techniques, new media and photography. She also works
as a free-lance
web designer / copy-writer.
Laetitia
studied at the Gerrit Rietveld academie in
Amsterdam
and is an artist, printmaker and
proffesional henna-designer. She studied with worlds most famous henna-artists and
became her
certificates. She also intergrates hennaprints in artworks of other
artists.
For Puhlmann this duo worked together to design the Lola & Layla
gloves
Rinske
Molenschot –
Tilburg
1973
Rinske
got her Master degree in Social-Cultural Sciences at VU
University Amsterdam.
Puppy-Bag
was founded by Rinske in 2008. Puppy-Bag's
functional product design was born from Rinske's ambition
to create a bib that would be truly practical as well as a joy for the eye,
reflecting Rinske's signature
colour palette. The Puppy-Bag is now part of The ZOO collection.
Egbert-Jan
Lam
- Alkmaar 1971
Graduated in
building-engineering in
Alkmaar
(1994) and in design at the Design academy in
1999. Egbert-Jan
participated in several international design exhibitions f.e. Droog
design and
The design
academy. His studio, buroJET
designs and developes concepts and products for own labels
as well for as national and international contractors and manufacturers. For Puhlmann
and The ZOO
he desigend the Bookend-Filemaker and -Bunny
Jorine
Oosterhoff
- The
Hague 1981
JORINE
was founded in 2005 by Jorine Oosterhoff after graduating at the academy
of
Arts
and Design
Arnhem (The Netherlands).
With
her fascination for ceramics, stories, characters and animation
Jorine’s products become stories on their own. Working
mainly in ceramics for The ZOO she designed
the Dear Deer and family coat hangers in polystone and the Birdclip range. She started Freaks United in
2006: a cooperation with Egbert-Jan Lam (graduated in 2000 at the Design
Academy Eindhoven
Freaks United works for several international companies designing tableware, cutlery, glassware and

Matijs
Korpershoek - Leeuwarden 1969
Matijs
graduated Cum Laude under Gijs Bakker (founder Droog Design) at the
Design Academy
Eindhoven. His two final-year projects (1996) - a 'Magnetic
Case' and promotional articles - received the
Dutch Furniture Award and
the Talent Trophy at the Annual Advertising Awards (Netherlands Art
Directors' Club). His 'Magnetic Case' has entered the
permanent collection of the Centraal Museum
Utrecht and Matijs Korpershoek was nominated for the Rotterdam Design Prize in 1998 and won
several
more awards.
He has been designing for Droog Design since 1996. For
Cabanaz Matijs
designed the
King & Queen set.
Paul
Baars
Paul Baars
has a small-scale, full-service design
studio. His goal is to create originaI, functional
and successful
identities and objects in collaboration with clients. His team
of enthusiastic, involved
people ensure great professionalism, going to
the extreme and always striving for perfection.
Paul Baars products are sold in galleries and museum
shops. Over 700 different
postcards have been
issued in large editions through Art Unlimited publishers. Puhlmann distributes his Vase-2
vase.
Liesbeth Conen
- Maasbree 1976
Stylist and fashion designer Liesbeth Conen is co-founder of
Firma Kijkhuis,
an interior styling office for real property promotion.
For
Capventure Liesbeth is
head
of the jury during the "Nationale Etalagewedstrijd".
BoxtelBuijs
Ruben
van Boxtel and Reinier Buijs, two Dutch designers who graduated succesfully
at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1999.
Since 2003 they joined forces and founded
BoxtelBuijs (BoxtelBuijs.nl)
with its specialisation in interior product design.
BoxtelBuijs celebrated a worldwide succes with the "Peekaboo" wallclock series for
children.
For Puhlmann they designed the "Hanger" and the "Hands".
Odette Muijsers
- Venlo 1973
Odette gratuated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 1997.
Since
then she has worked
and lived in Amsterdam as a painter and illustrator. Besides working as an artist she also
desings bags, rugs and other textile objects. She
has had exibitions in the Netherlands,
Germany, Japan and New Zealand. For
Capventure Odette made several illustration paintings
and drawings to express the identity of our Puhlmann brand.
Tom
van der Leij - Amsterdam 1975
After his graduation at the School for Journalism in Utrecht, Tom has
specialised his
profession into press-photography. As a freelance
photographer
he travels around the world for travel- and lifestyle
magazines. For more

Tom made pictures for several
prints on Puhlmann items, like the Milk-Bar-series.
Rosanne
Verstappen
- Arnhem 1967
Rosanne has a stylist-studio in the centre of Arnhem (saltstudio.nl).
She
makes productions for a variety of magazines like Elle Eten, Elle, Eigen
Huis & Interieur, Red en Elsevier, and works for several photostudio's.
For Capventure Rosanne has done several styling assignments.
Maarten
Scheffer - Zevenaar 1967
Maarten
studied industrial design at Delft University and at the Design Academy in
Eindhoven.
He founded his own design studio in 1996. Studio Som (jebenteenkei.com)
is specialized in
clever
mass products for industry and consumers. Always innovative, always special, always to the point,
always on time. Studio Som works for many (inter-)national compagnies and won several
contests and
prizes. Maarten teaches design at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Maarten designed the
100% Aqua Pura
Decanter-set for Puhlmann.
Lotte
van Tongeren
- Nijkerk 1982
As a designer Lotte is
specialised in fashion-accessories. During her study
at the
Academy
of
Arts
and Design Arnhem (The Netherlands)
she worked
for fashion designer Alexander van Slobbe (Orson, Bodil)
and Francisco van
Benthum (Wolf). At this moment for Diesel, Italy.
For Puhlmann she designed the Delotte
Coathanger.
Benito de Beer
- Tilburg 1965
Benito
studied at the vocational school for Gold and Silversmith and graduated
in 1998 at the Design
Academy Eindhoven. Benito started as a
freelancer and worked with several companies as a product
designer, stylist and graphic designer. Nowadays he specialized himself mainly as a freelance graphic
designer
and advisor in the visual communication area. He loves designing small and
distinguished
products. Benito designed together with
Liesbeth Kaag the denimspike cufflinks for Puhlmann.
Liesbeth Kaag
- Middelbeers 1973
Liesbeth
graduated in 1998 from the Design Academy Eindhoven. She
worked with several companies
(Esprit, Auping, Ahrend, Innofa) as a textile
product designer, as a bag designer and a pattern designer.
In 2006 she started her bag label www.lilabags.com.
Her bags show a strong femininity, a mutual
love
for refinement and a special mix of colours and materials. For Puhlmann Liesbeth designed together
with Benito the denimspike cufflinks.
Remco
van der Leij - Amsterdam 1972
Remco studied industrial design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and Collage for
Design
and Communication in London. As co-founder and creative director of
Capventure
he is responsable for the Puhlmann, the ZOO, Cabanaz and Zuperzozial collections.
